Turntable System

Our welding turntable offers the option of welding even components that are not suitable for the standard orbital process. The welding process differs from the use of welding heads in that the component is clamped in the turntable before welding. During welding, the workpiece rotates around the torch. This ensures even distribution of the welding energy and the melted material. With a hydraulic articulated arm, the TIG torch can be conveniently aligned to suit the part. Several workpieces can then be welded with the same setting for the turntable. For large runs, this provides a welding result with consistently high quality and reproducible welds. The automated rotation of the workpiece increases the production speed and reduces welding defects. The turntable makes your welding tasks faster and more cost-efficient. The turntable is equipped with a hollow shaft through which the inside of the component can be purged via the central axis. The Orbitec turntable features easy operation and flexibility.
